If I am a crown and anchor member but my husband is not, will he be invited to the reception as well? I would really like to go, but would hate to desert him.

Only C&A members are invited.

It is true that the invitation is members only, but I have never heard of anyone having a problem bringing their spouse or significant other. Take your husband along. (and if there is a problem, although unlikely, the party isn't THAT great anyway! LOL

Yeah, your husband will be good to go. The invitation will only have your name on it, and they do take them from you at the door but they don't stop and go over each one to match names. My son isn't a member (too young) and he has never been turned away. I've also taken my mother-in-law on a cruise with RCCL and she has gone to the party with us without a problem.

Look at it this way: do you think they want to anger a loyalty member by booting her husband at the door? Not likely!

Dave is so right, I didn't think of that when I answered. I apologize for sounding rude. They take the envelope, smile and welcome you in. Thank you Dave for reminding me of that fact. I need to stop and think before i post. OOPS!

I am a Diamond Member, but frequently cruise with newbies. I have been told by the Concierge and the Loyalty Ambassador onboard, that the invitation always includes your traveling companion/family if they are sharing your stateroom (this includes entrance into the Concierge Lounge - as long as you accompany them). I guess they anticipate that most guests will be accompanied by someone.

If your husband had cruised with Royal Caribbean before, why not enroll him today?
