Does anyone know if they still register you at the hotel if you book air with RCI and they put you up in a hotel the day before? Years ago they signed us up at the hotel the morning of our cruise and gave us our cards then. Thanks!

From what port will you be leaving (that might make a difference)? I know they used to do that in the past at some ports, but now with the heightened security and screening processes I am not sure they do that anymore. If it is an option, that information should be with your cruise documents, however.

We are leaving from Port Canaveral. Also, do you know when you put your royal caribbean tags on your luggage. We used to do it when we boarded the plane in our hometown and then just used our overnight bag at the hotel before the cruise. We wouldn't see our bags until the following day on the ship.
Again, your documents will probably tell you when to put your tags on. As you booked your air with them, you should put them on before you leave home. However, you should check to make sure they are picked up (by you or by RCI) at the airport in Ft Lauderdale, as they may not take them directly to the ship overnight, as before. Ask your TA for details.
