I've read about them but never saw one for our previous or upcoming cruise. TILL TODAY! ! ! Something caught my eye and I went out and found that there was a residency price reduction (cruising out of FL/live in SC, go figure). I called my TA and he checked and said YES that there is a small price savings and he would take care of it right away. It was for balcony cabins or higher (that's us) so we are saving $50 per person. That's $100 more to spend elsewhere (cause you know it will be spent somewhere, LOL). YIPPPPEEEE

Can I get greedy and hope for even more savings????

Congratulations BirdLady! A $100 is a lot of money to save. Today is a happy day for me too. I just found out I got an upgrade. I love it when some kind of a refund comes back. Maybe we ought to buy lottery tickets this week. http://images7.fotki.com/v157/photos...xthumbs-vi.gif

How do you find out if you have this chance for a price reduction? We are coming out of N.C, leaving from Miami. We have a Junior Suite booked.

Bruce, I think the best way is to watch the prices week by week. If you see any hot deals, contact your T.A. and let them know. My travel agent has called me a couple of different times with a reduced price. Also, check to see if there are any dicount coupons on the Crown & Anchor site.

Sonny, where would you look for the prices at, RCCL site? Although this will be our 4th cruise, it will be the first on RCCL so we are not eligible for C&A till after this trip, darn it!! Any ideas on where to keep check and I will. I wonder if having a J.S booked will affect the chances of price changes. Even so, we are tickled and looking forward to this cruise.

Bruce - All the balcony cabins and suites are sold out. They even want around $1,300 per person for just an outside cabin on the date you're sailing. What ever you paid for your JS, you got a good deal. To go to the site CLICK HERE

Thanks Sonny, looks like I won't be getting any deals!! I think I paid $1599 for the 2 of us and then whatever the third person add on is. That is for the Junior Suite and I booked it in Nov of '06. Thanks again.

BTW, I think this ship is really meant to be the one for us this time because of the tie to all three of our birthdays. The ship was named on my daughter's birthday, it was christened on my birthday and the final payment is due on my wife's birthday!!! How is that for coincedence!!!

That is pretty neat.

WOW Bruce! If you got a JS for $800 per person you got the best deal I ever heard of. I thought I got a fantastic price for my Sept 2nd cruise. I paid $1,450 total for my wife and I for a D-2 balcony cabin. That's some coincidence! Maybe that's why you got such a good deal. http://images7.fotki.com/v157/photos...xthumbs-vi.gif
