Going on my first cruise in May. Can anyone give information regarding the availability of irons and/or ironing boards in the state rooms.

Hello. Welcome to cruise chat. Well, I believe irons are not allowed in the staterooms. I do know some ships on Princess have a self-laundry room, I also saw irons with iron boards in these laundry room. However, I am pretty sure they are not allowed in staterooms. There is a laundry service ships offer, for a fee, depending on what service you have done. Are you going on RCCL?? Anyways, maybe you will be addicted to cruising, like the rest of us. I'm going on Grandeur (RCCL) on May 26 out of Baltimore. I have never been before, but know that I am already addicted. Thank you for your help.

We're going too. Can't wait. Will prbably be last family vaca with kids, 19 and 21.

Sorry, you won't find an iron or ironing board in your stateroom. I would suggest a wringle relaxer spray or better yet, a portable steam wand. If you put your wringley (is that a word?) items in plastic bags they should stay wrinkle free.
