Grandeur or Explorer

Hi,

We are looking into our very first cruise ever. We have decided on RC but not sure if we should do mega ship or slightly smaller. What will we miss or gain by doing Grandeur. We are not sports freaks so..rock climbing etc. is not important. Good food..fun..entertainment is.

if you have children. If so, go on the Explorer.

We just returned from the mega AOS. We are not big atheletes either, and only utilized the putt putt. However, the ship was absolutely amazing!

We have been on several smaller ships, including the Vision (sister ship of the Grandeur). We loved the Vision and thought the size was perfect for the two of us, however, the children would have been bored. We were childrenless for our last cruise as well, but can't wait to take them on another large ship.

Since you are first time cruisers, I think you will be fine with either ship. If one is a lot less than the other, than go with that ship.
May I suggest a balcony stateroom?

Hello, we have just returned from our first cruise also, got back yesterday the 27th. We chose the explorer. You will absolutely not be disappointed if you choose a mega ship whether your a sports person or not. If food and entertainment are important to you I would suggest one of the mega ships. The food is good and the entertainment is wonderful and non-stop. If your traveling with children, the kids program is an A+. If you have any specific question please let me know.

I reccomend the explorer. I have been on both ships and yes of course they are both fun but on the explore you feel you have more room to go and it is just so much bigger. I went on a smaller ship after i went on the explore and it just felt so tiny.
