Explorer 3/8

We are sailing on the Explorer of the Seas on Mar.8 to the Eastern Carribean. It will be my husband and I and 2 18 year olds. We have been on 1 Carnival cruise and RCC's Viking Serenade-many years ago- and recently a 3 day on the beautiful Radiance of the Seas. I wanted the family to experience a big ship. Is it too big? Any suggestions from anyone who has sailed on Explorer for making sure we experience all their is to offer?

My husband and I were on the Explorer 2 wks ago. Our first cruise and we are hooked. Could not wait to get get on-line to research our next which is booked for our family of 5. Our kids are 16, 6, 4 and we know they would love it. There was always something for kids of all ages to do. The ship is huge but it only takes a few minutes to walk from one end to the other, unless you happen to walk by a soft serve machine, in that case it takes a little longer. Your kids will not be overwhelmed, they will feel like they are in HEAVEN! Enjoy.
