Tickets for Ice Show

I understand that seating is limited for the ice shows and passengers must request a ticket for a particular time and day in order to attend. I am leaving on the Independence December 7th and wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions on how best to secure a ticket for the time and date we want. Any little secrets or advice for how best to see the show would be appreciated. Also, do these shows change or is it the same each time?

They hand out the tickets in front of the skating rink at times published in the daily Cruise Compass - this is usually done on the morning of the second day but you need to be on the look out for the announcement. It is first come, first served, so if you want to ensure you get your preferred time your only option is to show up as soon as they start handing out the tickets. You can send one person for your whole party to get tickets. No need for everyone to be there.

It is the same show for every performance.

Thanks Dave. I think while we are wandering around after embarkation I'll cruise by the ice rink and perhaps ask the pursor if they know what times in advance they'll be availabe at the ice rink.

They will have tables set up to get your tickets...and you can get enough for your total party.....so only one person needs to stand in line.....The last time we saw the ice show, there were empty seats.....some people get their tickets and then don't show up....in fact, they were letting people in without tickets on one of our cruises.....but get them just to be safe...it's a great show...don't wear shorts...it does get cool in there.....Have a Great Cruise.....don't forget to do the mini golf, Johnny Rockets.....
