We're departing Monday, 4/17 on Grandeur of the Seas to the Western Caribbean. I would appreciate any advice on what time to arrive at the pier for check in/boarding. Many thanks
I've never sailed out of Tampa but the general advice is to arrive in the early afternoon - if you wish to avoid the intial crowds. I'd say get there around 1 or 2 pm.
We always get there early, 11:30 - NOONISH. They usually start boarding about then. I've always finish a fantastic lunch aboard ship by 1pm and relaxing the rest of the afternoon. None it both ways and find early the best for us. Also, we fly in a day early to ensure making it to the ship. We get a good nights sleep and are refreshed on our first day aboard.
congtar on your cruise. fly in a day early. it really makes a difference. they start boarding at @11:00 am.,we arrived at the port of miami at 11:30 and there was no wait and was processed and up in the windjammer for lunch by @12:00. be sure to have your set sail pass completed and passport ready, if you do check-in takes minutes it's that easy.
