I'm new here, so I'm not sure what you mean by a friend of "Dorothy", but we will be on that cruise.

The term "Friends of Dorothy", or The Friends of Dorothy Society, is a society for lesbian, gay, and bisexual people and their friends. You may see something posted on the ship saying "Friend of Dorothy Meeting". Now you'll know what it means. My wife and I were on a cruise not too long ago, wondering who this Dorothy was.
