Howdy all - we leave for our western carribean cruise in just 4 weeks - Yahoo!

Have a question about booking excursions. We booked 2 of them on RCCL's web site but a couple of them said "booking not available online pleas book aboard ship"

I was pretty surprised by that. The one and only excursion my wife really wants to do is one of them. How, when and where do I go once aboard to book the excursion to make sure she is happy?

thanks in advance for your advice

The cruise lines try to leave some spots on each excursion available for people to book once they board. Also, they cut off online shore excursion bookings about 10 days prior to sailing. Since your wife really wants one of them, I suggest you go to the shore excursion desk as soon as it is open, after you get onboard, and sign up for it. Good luck!

Got another excursion question. What do you do with your personal belongings during the excursion?

For example: we booked the snorkeling/sting ray city combo. What do we do with our camera, watch, wallet, etc. while snorkeling? Same thing at Dunn's River Falls?

We use Petzl pouches while cruising to hold credit card and some cash. They are great. They are available at REI stores. Yes your sail and sign and all belonging in them get wet but wet cash spends just the same and the water doesn't effect credit card or sail and sign card. As for camera......get a throwaway for the day trips. If lost....oh well. At least not expensive. As for your watch....get an inexpensive water proof one to bring. We just don't care what time it is. We are on vacation and someone will always give you the time. Bon Voyage and enjoy!
