Staterooms at Back of Ship

We are sailing on Adventure of the Seas in September. I have never had a stateroom at the back of the ship in all our cruises with Royal and Celebrity. We are in 6688. Can anyone address this about noise issues, etc.

Not sure I understand your question... why would noise be an issue at the back of the ship (aft)... ? Are you concerned about engine noise?

I seem to remember someone telling me that they could hear the anchor mechanisms? Of course, it may have been a much older ship.

There is no problem with noise or anything else with the cabin location. In fact the balcony is larger than other E1 category cabins. Much larger.

However, you do need to know that there is a lot of structural steel behind your cabin, including a large gray steel deck. This photo is taken from the cabin directly above yours.

I was fairly far back on Adventurer a few years ago and don't remember hearing anything like that. I was not at the back (aft) of the ship but close to it.

I don't think "Adventure of the Seas" has a stern anchor.
