Sonny-Sorry to hear about your disappointments on Voyager. We had a wonderful cruise on her in January and the crew was outstanding. I'm sure things will get corrected as you said. Welcome back!

Some thing happened between January and December. Maybe it was when the Voyager was in Europe.

No, I haven't ever been to Europe. I just thought maybe the ship had a different protocol. Some things were different than other RCCL ships. It certainly wasn't the passengers.

Voyager of the Seas is the only Voyager class ship that is not build at Aker Yards.. I guess that's why

We have just returned from the Navigitor last week. We have sailed it 2 years in a row. I must say the staff on Navigator are execellent and service was impeccable.

Hi PS,
Welcome to Cruise-Chat. Thanks for the good report on the Navigator. I'll be on her in March.

Happy Hoidays!

Sonny,

Yikes! I've been planning this trip for a year and we're taking all four of our grown kids, (the 25 and 27 year old boys have never been on a cruise before). I sure hope the staff gets their act together by next weekend! We're due to sail on the 6th of Jan. Maybe since they've never experienced a cruise before, they won't notice the things us experienced cruisers do.

We were on the Voyager in Europe in July and had a fabulous time overall. But the first day we were on the ship, we were shocked when several of the staff members commented to us that they could hardly wait to return to the Caribbean, they didn't like being in Europe. It was a bad way to start, but we didn't have any bad attitude staff members after that. It was a great cruise!

I actually chatted with staff on the Navigator. Their reasoning of liking the Caribbean cruise more is because most passenger will be on on excursion and off the ship at port than the European itinery. This translates to less work for them.
