Hi NCBill! According to the Navigator of the Seas Ship Layout page of the brochure, "all RCCL staterooms and suites come equipped with private bathroom, vanity area, hairdryer, close circuit TV and phone." so you should be all set with the hair dryer.
It is instresting some times where they put the hairdryers. On the Voyager I like to never have found it,it was in the drawer in the cabin not in the bathroom.
On the Zenith we also found the dryer in the wall-closet in the cabin, combined with a tag and the price, you have to pay when you take the dryer with you.
I left my hairdryer at home and regretted it. The ship's hair dryer was hard to use. You had to hold the power down the whole time so you can't shift hands while styling without it turning off.
I'm a girl with serious hair needs and this baby just didn't cut it. Pack your own. You'll be glad you did and so will your hairdresser.
My husband thinks the hair dryers on the ship are just great. He's handsome but slightly hair challenged. I have a short style but with all the humidity in the air, it's about impossible to get my hair dry. Perhaps it's just me, but my hair is opinionated and won't perform without its own dryer.
