We are so excited to celebrate our 20th Wedding anniversary on a 10 night sail, leaving Apr 2, to the Mexican Riviera. Love this site and have learned a lot!
Our budget was tight so we chose Z category, an inside state room (wanted a balcony but we decided with the $ saved we could go 10 nights, instead of 7!) I was feeling claustrophic about the "guaranteed" status putting us down in Deck 2-3, so I was thrilled to see that we are already assigned to Deck 8, room 8015. The travel agent said they don't assign rooms until 3 days before sailing? Will our room possibly change then?
Anyone have any firsthand experience with an inside room, to ease my mind or warn me of? Thanks!

I haven't been on this specific ship, but my past 2 cruises, I have been in an inside stateroom by choice. I found it was adequate for just me, but two people could be just a little tight. Is this just an "interior" stateroom," or a "large interior stateroom?" The difference I think is about 17 square feet.

You'll probably find that there's so much to do, that you're only in your room to sleep, change, and take a shower. You should be fine.

I was on the Radiance last October and I can't sing enough praises about how great the food and service was. Once you've been assigned a cabin number it won't change. Tell your travel agent to log onto Cruise-Chat to get educated.

I haven't been on that ship but my advice for any inside cabin would be to take a night light and/or a clock because the rooms can be very dark and some what hard to keep up with the time.

Good advice, Susan. Leaving the bathroom light on with the door closed gives enough light also. Don't worry about the electric bill.
