Has anyone heard of a ship being found out to sea EMPTY? A friend of mine told me that her mom said a ship was found out to sea with no one on it, kind of wierd i think.

I think your friends mom was refering to a sail boat that was found with the sails up, and the motor running, but the 3 crew members missing.

I saw a movie "Ghost Ship" once. It was pretty scary!

A perfect movie not to watch before a cruise would be Poisidon, or the perfect storm. I wanted to watch Poisidon before our last cruise, but my wife talked me out of it.

Guess I'm weird, I always rent those beofre a cruise. The original Posidon is fer better than the remake with Kurt Russell.

Wonder if Captain Jack Sparrow is looking for the ship in the clip?

Cheers, Neil

TrvlPro,
couldn't agree more about "Poseidon"; even with all it's effects, the new one just didn't come across--it had no heart.
The only decent shot was the opening sequence with the 360 around the ship--but even the ship looked fake.

Here's a great double feature before flying to a cruise:

"United 93" and "The Poseidon Adventure".
