Can someone please tell me how it works when you drive to a port. We are driving to the NJ port for our curise, what can we do with our luggage when we check in? Will they take our luggage or will we need to carry it around with us? Thanks in advance for your help

When you arrive at the terminal for your ship there will be porters standing by to take your luggage so it can be loaded on the ship. Make sure you have your cruise ship tags on each bag. These people expect tips too. After dropping your luggage off with the porters, you and your carry-on bags proceed to the terminal for check-in. Your baggage will be delivered to your cabin later that afternoon.

Thank you so much for your information. We have always flown before and were worried we'd have to carry our luggage around with us until we could get in our cabin. Thanks again !
