Can young children wear nice shorts in the dining room or do they have to wear pants everynight?

While all the guidelines specify "no shorts" permitted in the dining room for dinner. It really depends on the age of the children. While long pants are preferred, no one will look twice at a child under 5 in a very nice shorts outfit on casual nights. Of course, you can always eat at the alternative casual dining restaurant, if you (and the children) would feel more comfortable in a casual setting.
