I looked at the deck plans for our cabin #8566. Behind the number is an *, 8566*. Can someone please tell me what this indicates.
Thank you in advance for your response. I really enjoy this forum and all the wonderful information that I receive.

It means that cabin has a third berth. If you scroll down on the deck plans you'll find a legend which explains the various symbols.

Not sure which ship your on, but the astrix normally indicates Stateroom has third Pullman bed available, according to the key on the RCI website.
