chops or formal

hello, my wife and i are going on the MOS aug. 26th with our three little ones,I`m wondering if chops is really crowded on the formal nights or should we plan for another night? thanks fred

If you make reservations the first day on the ship you shouldn't have problem getting a table. Be aware, children under a certain age are not allowed. I believe it's 13, but I'm not sure. I'll be getting on the Mariner when you're getting off.

Hey Freddie48, we were on the Mariner in 04, best cruise yet. Have never tried the specialty restaurants (except Johnny Rockets), but the food in dining room was great. Welcome to cruise chat. Have a great cruise. RB

Sonny is correct. If you make your reservations early enough and its just for two, you should be fine.

We ate at Chops on Jewel. We did have a 10 year old with us. However, he was well behaved and we made an early reservation (6:00). We felt there would be fewer adult diners at this time.
