Just curious - is there any reason why the Brilliance arrives back in Miami on 14th April but does not leave for the Transatlantic until Monday April 16th?

Could it be minor refurbishing ?

Its unusual not to turn around on the same day.

It could be due to a couple of reasons. The cruise is a two week cruise and it is also a repositioning cruise. After arriving in Barcelona, it goes on to cruise the Mediterranean. Perhaps this requires a little more planning.

I will be on that April 16th cruise to Barcelona and have had the reservations for quite some time, so I am sure that there was not any recent unforseen problem.

Um, check again. The Brilliance arrived back on the 16th (I was on it, so I know). It was leaving the same night.

And, yes, there was a crew change, but it did not require any additional time in port.
