Majesty of the Seas

We will be on the Majesty - May 14th, this is our third time on the ship.

I was trying to see if the ship still must clear before anyone can get off in Key West and if so how are they doing this.

I have never been on the Majesty of the Seas before, but pretty much all of the port procedures work the same way for all of RCCL's ships. All ships have to clear before they let anyone off of the boat.

Done Majesty and enjoyed the ship and the size; needed some perking up but I understand this has happened - I believe we had been scheduled for sister ship Millenium but ended up on Majesty.

Hi DSR,

I just got back from the Majesty, and yes, you have to clear customs or immigration (can't remember what it was called exactly) before you get off the ship in Key West. The night before, your deck is assigned a time for the next morning to do this. The time is not strict - you can go whenever you want.

The ship, the food, service and everything was nice. I even enjoyed it with all the spring break college kids (there were about 1500 of them) - I didn't let it bother me. I can imagine that the environment would be completely different at a different time of the year.
