I heard that we should bring a a small extension cord for the hairdryer because there is not an outlet to plug in, in the bathroom. Is this true? We are going on the Mariner next week has anybody found that problem on the Mariner?

It's true. My wife uses their hair dryer and just sits right at the vanity. More room there then in the bathroom.

I have also been on the Mariner and agree with Sonnyv. I tend to get ready at the vanity outside the bathroom. There is much more space to move around. It is to cramped in the bathroom.

There is a hairdryer in the drawer at the vanity ... so unless you need a particular kind of hairdryer, you don't even need to bring one of those!

Some people take power bars if they are bringing along a laptop, iPod, phones, speaker system, curling iron, walkie talkies, etc. There is a double outlet on the vanity, and a single razor only outlet in the bathroom. I think there must also be an outlet behind the bed, because there is a clock radio.

Is this true for all ships? We'll be on the Soverign in July. Will there be a hair dryer available too?

Yup it's true for all of the ships, including the Sovereign.
