first time cruiser here, was wondering if causal dress code would include capris and open toe sandals? Also about how much are they charging guest for bottle water? Any tips about first time cruising would be most helpful. Thanks Wendy

wendy, you're good to go in capris and sandals for casual attire at dinner.

If I'm not mistaken, bottled waters are always sold in the morning before excursions and in the gift shop on board.

Small bottled water - $2.50 (approx. 16.9 fl. oz.)
Large bottled water - $5.00

Casual dinners are really come as you are. Just dress up so you look nice, and head on out. The requirements are really loose.

Just no Shorts........or bathing suits.....

They say no jeans, but we did see lots of them in the main dining room on the Voyager....even on Formal night.....Just enjoy....and when your second and third cruise come up...you will know what to do:-) Happy Sailing

I've never seen anyone tossed for wearing sandals. I've never even seen the choice of footwear questioned. Most sandals have more substance than some high fashion shoes!

From the Liberty Of The Seas Cruise Compass last month on a casual night in the dining room: "Please note that bare feet, short pants and tanks tops are not permitted at dinner."

For the always casual dinner in the Jade and Windjammer Cafe: "Please note that bare feet and tank tops are not permitted in the venues for dinner".
