Is it really do-able to have 2 moms and 2 teenage sons share one cabin? Do you think the last week of March first week of April is still prime Spring Breaker time? thx

Hi SheilaJean and welcome to Cruise Chat.

To be sure, it'll be tight with 4 adult sized people in one cabin on the Sovereign. The rooms on that ship are small, storage space will be at its limit, not to mention that you'll all be sharing one bathroom.

On the positive side, on short cruises like the Sovereign does, you're not spending a lot of time in your room. You're really there just to change clothes and sleep. Depending on how old the boys are, you may be changing for bed long before they come in for the night...

March and April still can be Spring Break time.

Sandy

SheilaJean, Sandy's warning about cabin size is something you'll definately want to be aware of. The Sovereign has among the smallest cabins of any ship in the industry. Inside cabins are 119sf and OV cabins are 122sf. That is very tine for two adults and two teens. I don't know how much the saving is vs getting 2 cabins but if it were me I'd think seriously about spending the difference.

Cheers, Neil

Thanks you two for the replies.
That thought of 4 to a room only lasted overnight.
We have two rooms booked now!
