Good Morning Everyone,
I need to know the names of good hotels in San Diego, California that are close to the cruise port. Middle of the road is fine as I am just staying one night before a cruise in July on the Legend of the Seas. Any help would be great. By the way I'm still looking for a roomate on the July 18. 2004 Legend of the Seas sailing...great rate includes cruise, taxes, gratuities. Thanks for your help.

I live in Downtown San Diego and can tell you that any hotel in the immdediate downtown area will be close to the Cruise Ship Terminal. The terminal is located right at the edge of the city - on the bay - and a short cab ride from any hotel.

Hotels tend to be expensive in San Diego, particularly in the downtown area. If you are looking for hotels more reasonably priced, you can search for hotels in the "Hotel Circle" area. This area lends itself to more moderately priced hotels (2-3 stars), and it about a 10 minute cab ride to the Terminal.
