First-time cruise

Hi, A few of my friends & I are taking our first cruise on Legend of the Seas (RCL)in May, 2003. This will be our first cruise and first time going to Hawaii also. Does anyone have any info on Legend and tips for our Hawaiian land excursions? (2 married, 3 single lady friends)We are flying to Hawaii & cruising the islands, then back to Vancover, BC. I'm wondering if it will be cold/chilly that time of year on deck aboard ship?

The weather conditions in the Pacific are hard to predict, but there is a good chance that as you sail towards Vancouver and away from Hawaii you will experience some inclement weather. I would pack a sweatshirt/jacket in anticipation of chilly temperatures. As for shore excursions in Hawaii - Check out my review of the Vision of the Seas in Hawaii Feb. 2002 at cruisereviews.com - Although it is a different ship, it includes a number of suggestions for port activities.
