My TA messed up and put the wrong person in one of our suites. We have two suites and are suppose to have 3 people in each one. She put 4 in one room and 2 in the other. I asked her about it and she said not to worry that we could fix it on the ship.
Should I worry? Even though the rooms are next to each other, the 4th person will have the wrong key.
I would call her again and try to fix it, but frankly, she has been a pain to deal with. I got overcharged for the cruise, because of adding the 4th person and I am suppose to get 1700.00 back from RCL (which I haven't seen yet) so I am weary about dealing with her anymore.
IMHO the TA should fix it now. It is her job. It can be fixed onboard but will be harder.
Why are you getting $1700.00 back. I have not heard of a deal like that.

Gary is correct here. You need to get it straightened out before the cruise. As long as both suites are capable of housing 3 people, then its probably not a BIG deal and you can just have them change you at the ship (they can issue a new room card) but it is a hassle you don't want tot have trying to board the ship.
How did you get overcharged by $1700?? that seems excessive. The 4th person things should not have caused this since the 3rd and 4th person rates will be the same.

The agent, like her or not, has the booking and is who you have to work with. She is getting the commission, and given it is for two suites it is likely a pretty high commission.
Let me preface this with chances are you wouldn't have a problem. However; I would err on the side of caution here, and get this taken care of before you travel. You aren't asking for a simple swamp of two people in a double asking to switch to a different double cabin; or swamping one person for another person, which is down often with parents and children who get two cabins. You are asking to change the configuration of a cabin booking from a double to a triple. The Coast Guard regulates triple and quad bookings. To ensure a smooth start to your cruise vacation I would make sure this is taken care of prior to you leaving home.
Thanks for the input. I really don't want to have to deal with this TA again. I will never use her again.
The 1700.00 refund is due to the errors she has made with the booking. Not only with adding the 4th person but we were charged twice on our credit card for the final payment.
But....only 39 days until we sail, so all is good!
If you were charged twice, call your credit card company, they can help with that issue.
I would not wait till you are on board. The TA get a commission on the sell, the higher the sell the more money. If this TA is as bad as you say, she might be dragging her feet and not getting it changed.
It should not be a big deal, she can grab your paper work and call the cruise line right then, with you in the office. They will correct it and fax the paperwork right over. You can have a corrected copy when you leave.
