We leave on Sunday on the Freedom of the Seas and can't wait. I know you cannot take an iron on the ship but what about a steamer. We have been on several cruises and never thought about bringing a steamer before but it would be nice to get the wrinkles our of our clothes.
Luv2...Why worry about packing it...penny has the right idea.....We have been doing that for over 50 years of cruising,,,with great results!!!Relax..You'll be on a cruise..Enjoy!!

Penny, I do the same thing. I actually learned that trick from my dad, who travels often on business. That works pretty well.

Trust me, we are relaxed. We have been on several cruises but just thought it would be nice to have a steamer. No stress, just a week of relaxation!! Already have the Allure booked for next year...gotta love it.
hi Luv2Cruise2007,
We have a travel steamer and have taken it on four Royal Carribean trips in the last two years. It has never been a problem on any of the trips. Shower trick does work but we will continue to bring the steamer.
If you pack the items that you think will wrinkle in a plastic bag - chances are you won't need either. My wife told me she prefers the hand held steamer. She didn't even have to use it on our last two cruises; thanks to the plastic bags.
