Porthole or Window

Hi DEEEE to all
I've got questions again. The rate on my cruise has just dropped again. They are telling me that I can get a (H) class oceanview on deck 2 (with a porthole) for the same price as my (I) Class Deck 8 Obstructive view (view is only 20% obstructive). Should I go for deck 2 or stay where I'm at? I'm thinking the window on deck 8 has to be bigger than a porthole right? The ship is the Monarch of the sea. My other question is: Do are ALL oceanview Stateroom have the same size window if not what's the big difference anyway?

I personally would stay on desk 8. Bigger window or not the higher up the better. And if my memory serves me correct I believe the higher oceanview rooms have a big rectangle window versus the porthole on desk 2. Enjoy your trip.

That's what I thought. Thanks SOOOO much for verifing for me... Now if only that balcony room price would drop to $200..I'd upgrade to it..LOL
I think that price is going to remain in my dreams...hehehe
