- How do you normally book a RCCL Cruise?
Are you booking directly online at RCCL.com or on phone with Royal Caribbean, or are you booking with an Travel Agent?

- And if you need to book airfare, are you booking air with RCCL or on your own with the Airline?

I have always booked on line directly through the cruise line's website. If you have a lot of questions I would recomend a travel agent so you have someone you can contact with any questions. I have never booked airfare through the cruise line mainly because the 2 cruises I have taken I have compaired cost and it seems to be less expensive to book on my own. However, if you do book on your own I would highly recomend flying out at least a day before your cruise leaves. If you fly out the day of the cruise you take the chance of flights being canceled. Hope this helps!

JuniorCruiser,

I very much prefer booking through a specialized travel agent. Airfare I usually book individually.

I actually used to be a travel agent years ago and I always booked thru and agent sometimes you can get in with a great group rate. I have also booked thru the website and here lately I call because I am a crown member and that way I can pre-arrange any special event or dinner arrangements. But watch the newspaper, check online and call directly and take the one that gives you the best prices.

If I'm booking my Cruise online at RCCL.com - Can I anyway call the RCCL at phone to order transfers, airfare and hotel (pre-cruise) afterwards?

We usually book on board. In the past I've usually booked direct through the cruise line.

Hey JuniorCruiser

My recommendation for you is to call directly to RCCL and arange everything at once. That way if you have any questions they can answer it on the spot. Also lets say you book online for a certain date and then decide to call about your air travel and then find out the flights are booked for the date you need. Or lets say you are celebrating something while on this cruise talking to a person they can customize your trip for what is best for you. Maybe the port you are going to is more expensive to fly to so maybe you can get a better deal by going to a different one and going to the same port of calls. So I recommend talking to someone when you book either a RCCL rep or a Travel Agent
