1st timer. NOS 7/22/06..questions re: E1 deck 10 room..and ATM machine on baord?

Hello everyone. I am first time cruiser and am very mech looking forward to departure on navigator 7/22/06.

Have read a lot of advice from longtime cruisers, and I thank you all for your wonderful ideas and information.

My questions are if they have ATM machine on board the ships? As we were hoping to bring a set amount of cash, then access other funds as needed/ if needed.

Also after reading comment about noise problem possible if room on deck 10. We booked E1 rm 1536, now wondering if that was a mistake due to possible noise from above. Anyone ever have a room on this deck?

Elizabeth... im 75% sure that they didnt have an atm machine on the navigator.

i had an deluxe oceanview room on deck 10, and had NO noise at all!!

this was my 4th cruise and the BEST!!!!

Thank you. We are in deluxe oceanview as well and we were thinking we'd go for the best we could afford for the first cruise! Then got a little nervous after seeing post about poss. noise issues.

Where did you go when you were on navigator? We are going western caribbean. Any ideas on "must see". We did not make any set plans and thought we would just wing it in ports of call, but always good to have ideas just in case-lol.

You're going to love the Navigator! DON'T MISS THE ICE SHOW!! It's free, but you will have to get a ticket. There will be plenty of notices to tell you where and when to get them. In Grand Cayman I would suggest the stingray tour. You'll save money by booking over the internet. Here a site you can go to

Sonny, your pictures are great! Are all the balconies that big? Do they all come with lounge chairs?

I will definitely get the ice show tickets as I have heard the show is great. We have second seating for dinner, will that interfer with the show? Do they have a set night that it is on? How was the food on the cruise? LOL guess I had more questions that I thought I would.

When did you go? What room/deck were you in/on?

We have been on deck 10 on a couple ships. The only time there is an issue with noise is when they are pulling the lounge chairs around on deck 11 setting them up for the day. Definitely not enough to dissuade us from choosing a cabin on deck ten again. As far as the ATM goes, we were on the Vision last and there was one located by the purser’s desk.

I did go look at some of Sonny's pictures and it looks as though we are under the excersize area, wonder how that will sound (if we hear anything). Thank you for the information though. I am feeling much better about the room we reserved.

4.5 days and counting until flight down to FL.and cruise... Can't wait!!!

The ATM machine is located adjacent to the Purser's Desk. It costs a hefty $5.50 fee per transaction. If you need cash, go to the Casino Cashier when the Casino is open and get what cash you need. It will be put on your SeaPass account and no service fee!
