Mexican Riviera in Sept Too risky?

Hey all we are thinking of a cruise to the Mexico Riviera in Sept.Is that too risky a intinery for that time of year? Any ideas would be apprecited so much

If you mean risky in the sense of "dangerous", certainly not;
no cruise line is going to put its passengers in harm's way.
If you mean risky in the sense of having to make an adjustment in the itinerary or port times due to weather or other circumstances, that's always a possibility.

just be aware of the political instability and the violence being staged by the drug cartels. Believe it or not, the opponents of the current regime are looking to hit the tourist dollars, and further cripple the Mexican economy. There are some nefarious things being directed at tourists...
