Liberty of the Seas

Hi everyone,
We are so excited about our upcoming cruise in October on Liberty of the Seas! and would love to hear any experiences of anyone going on the early voyages. I have read alot of your comments on Freedom and I presume they wll be almost identical.
It will be my husbands 40th and we would like o do something special on board (or in Grand Cayman as that where we'll be that day!). Has anyone any experiences of the special occasions packages availabe? are they value for money or not? Will the staff do something special for the occaison or not?
Any advice would be great, thanks!!

We cruised on our 20th anniversary last year and I ordered the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. It was in our room when we boarded and it was a nice surprise for my husband.

On Carnival we had a cake brought to tour table in the dining on my sisters birthday. It cost around $10 and said Happy Birthday. I don't know if Royal Caribbean dose this but I would presume they do.
