Few quick questions

Leaving on a cruise to western carribean on Empress of the seas.

1. Do we have to pay for the regular drinks - tea, coffee, iced tea, orange juice etc? These were free at carnival. You had to pay only for sodas and liquor.
2. I have a 4 year old. Are the kids camp on this ship free? In carnival it was free until 10pm. After that you pay every hour.

Yes, "regular drinks" are free and available around the clock at the Windjammer Café - and during mealtimes in the dining room, of course.

The children's program is also complementary, with the exception of excursions, nighttime baby sitting etc.

The specific drinks you are asking about – coffee and tea are free. Orange juice is free during breakfast – during lunch and dinner they have iced tea and lemonade. If you want anything else you do have to pay for it – even sodas at meal time, but this is standard in the industry.

The kids program is also free as long as you are talking about the regular daytime program. If you want special babysitting at night or anything that you do have to pay for.
