high school graduation...

i am interested in taking my daughter on a cruise for her graduation-from high school.
does this sound like a good idea from those of you who have taken you kids on cruises?

any input would be greatly appreciated-thank you.

When I had passed my high-school exams here in Germany, my mother took me on a cruise - and I have been addicted ever since.

A cruise as a graduation present is an EXCELLENT idea! But, as Raoul has testified, just be aware that you may be creating an addiction. My daughter is graduating from college this June, and while she has been cruising since she was 4, a celebratory cruise is what she is hoping for as a graduation present. One of her absolute favorite cruises was the one we took to celebrate her high school graduation.

I second everyone's opinion. There's a LOT to do on a cruise for both adults and kids. If you go after graduation, chances are there will be tons of families onboard, with kids of all ages, and the teens always gravitate towards each other. Your one complaint may be that you didn't see your daughter as much as you wanted to that week!
