BRILLIANT,,,,,,But...could you tell me if they have games where everyone pays say 30 dollars at the begining you get X ammount of shall we say play chipps,,,and winner takes all, I enjoy the game but would prefer to play for a set amount rather than play with real money at 60 dollars sit down,you could loose a fortune.
If not could I bring my own poker chips and arrange a game with people that dont want to loose alot, im sure there would be a few who preffer to play that way,

Fifer- I think you are referring to tournament style play. Aside from the normal play for money games, they did do one tournament where you paid an entry fee to play. Then winner take all.

First off, Welcome to Cruise-Chat!
I highly doubt they would let you organize a game with other passengers with real chips. If you want to play for fun with non cruise line plastic chips, that should be fine. I play cards on the promenade deck on CCL often with imitation chips. The security officer only say's "who's winning?". Of course, we don't tell him the loser has to buy the next round of drinks.
