Just returned from a 4 night cruise on the Navigator. Loved it!
Am looking for another cruise to take my children on in July. The Enchantment is the only cruise I can find that has a 5 night cruise and it includes Cozumel and Grand Caymen.
I think this length would be perfect (maybe a 6 nighter at most)
Will I like the Enchantment as much as the Navigator? Although I did not ice skate or play mini golf I think that would be a big hit with the kids.
I would love to hear opinions of those who love the Enchantment (especially people with children)
My kids will be 12 and 10.
I loved the Navigator!
I was with a group of girls (kids and husbands stayed home)
Some of us went to the "Quest" show. It was very WILD...and very funny! Not appropriate for kids.
In Cozumel we went to Paradise Beach. The beach was small but it was very nice. The food was very good! We also shopped a little on the way back to the ship.
The Enchantment doesn't have an ice skating rink. It's a different class, and a much smaller ship than the Navigator. I was on the Enchantment just a few weeks ago, and I really like her. I'll be on the Navigator for the transatlantic cruise in April. The Navigator is my favorite ship.
Sonny,
Does the Enchantment have mini golf? Does anyone know about the kids club.
Can you give me any other comparisons between the Navigator and Enchantment that you think I should know. I do realize the Enchantment is a smaller ship. Does it have a Johnny Rockets?
Any other info would be great thanks!
My kids really want to go on a cruise and I am trying to fit an itinerary and a time that they could go. I am limited to the Enchantment unless I go on the Navigator before she leaves for Europe...which my kids would have to miss school. Decisions, descisions!
Thanks
Lisa
The Enchantment doesn't have a Johnny Rockets or a mini golf coarse. All of RCCL's ships have a kid's program. I have pictures of two different Enchantment cruises on my photo site if you want to take a look. It should give you some idea of what to expect. Just click HERE.
Sonny,
Thank you so much for your help. I have seen your pictures and they are really good.
One more question. Is the Mariner pretty much the same as the Navigator? I am thinking we might just do a 7 nighter (originally wanted to only do a 5 nighter) I loved the Navigator so I am affraid to try a different class, especially when the kids are going too>
Yes, the Navigator and the Mariner are almost identical. The Mariner is one year newer. If you go back to my photo site, you can see both ships. A 7 night cruise is perfect; not too short and not too long.
