Going on the Freedom of the Seas this year and can't wait. Does anyone know if it is possible to get a menu from the main dining room for each night prior to sailing.

My kids are very picky eaters. Do you think they could get a hamburger or is there a kid's menu for when we are dining in the DR?

Leave them home and let them eat at McD's.

They have burgers, dogs, pizza ans nachos at the winjammer for most every meal. Depending on which ship you're on, there is also a Johnny Rockets for an additional charge!

PJS,
Both my daughters, especially my youngest, are super picker eaters. Our experience on Freedom was great. Our waiter would bring anything we asked for within reason for the girls. Chicken strips, hamburgers, just strawberries etc. Don't miss out on the dining room experience just because of the menu....have fun!!!

Wow, I stumbled across this by chance, and now I really can't wait for my cruise on the Freedom! Some of the dishes in the dining room look like they're similar to what I had on the Enchantment last year.

PJS, there is a Johnny Rockets on board as mentioned before for your kids if you don't want to go to the dining room. I believe it is a $4.95 cover charge, all you can eat, plus drinks, which are extra. I'll probably be eating lunch there at least on one of the sea days if not both of them.

You can always get a hamburger and fries in the dining room at dinner time. It is a standing item on the kid's menu, as well as chicken fingers, hot dogs, the usual stuff. Try to expand their palates by ordering new items for them from the regular menu, but also getting something they are "safe" with from the kid's menu. As our son grew up on cruises we'd get him his hot dog and fries but also order a soup or appetizer for him to try. This is how he learned he liked other things and he now happily orders all sorts of things. He loves escargots.
