Hello,
Has someone information about the temperature on a transatlantic cruise? We leave Galveston on 04-27 with the Voyager of the seas. I'm curious what clothing i need on board at sea. Gr, Rick |
http://www.smiliegenerator.de/s34/smilies-285.png I'll be crossing the Atlantic next month too, only I'll be in Barcelona a day before you leave Galveston. I'm hoping for the temperature to be in the low 70's when we cross. My wife is bringing a couple of sweaters in case it's too cool on deck or on our balcony. I'll post a message from the ship after we cross, which will be a week before you leave. Check in on Cruise-Chat and enjoy all the cool information you find.

Thanks for your quick reply. http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif
We will arrive in Houston 04-19 because we want to spend a few days in San Antonio before the cruise. Now (and while we there) i will certainly visit this site for futher information. It's our first cruise and we are a little worried that we forget something to take with us, that will be not on the ship for sale or something like that. Gr, Rick |
Congratulations on your first cruise! I think you'll find they have almost everything you need on the ship. You're going to be in awe when you see how big the ship is.

You are crossing the Atlantic at approximately the same latitude as Florida for most of the trip so expect temperatures to be similar. We crossed the last 2 years in April and the weather was sunny and warm. Seas were calm for most of the trip. Of course, weather can be unpredictable so take a seater or two. We found the Meditteranean a little cooler and rougher.

We crossed last April from Miami to Barcelona. The weather was in the high 70's and low 80's during the crossing and then in the low 70's in Lisbon and Spain.

I hope we get those warm temperatures. Did you do an excursion in Lisbon?

In Lisbon, we took an open air bus tour of Lisbon on one of those double decker buses like you see in London. The tour company operates several different bus tours of the city and they let you get on and off. I think the price was about $20. The tours leave from a beautiful square about two miles from the dock. The square is on the main city bus route and you can catch the bus to the square right at the end of the dock area. |
Hi Rick: My husband and I just booked the Nov 29th transatlantic - Barcelona to Galveston. How did you enjoy your trip? Any hints for us?
