Okay--this is probably a really stupid question but based on the fact you were originally in an inside cabin and were moved to a balcony could one draw the conclusion that the bed bugs may be more likey on the lower end cabins because for some strange reason they do not keep them up as well??? Just wondering?? Regardless-I am so sorry you had to experience this! I would still be freaking out!

Since I've only been on one cruise, I can't comment on details...but, I know I will be packing a diinfectant spray AND waterless hand cleaner. Better to be safe than sorry. I'm not saying that I expect uncleanlines, rather than its not uncommon to be in contact with germs or bugs when you are surrounded with so many people in so many confined spaces. I'm in the cleaning industry and its from experience that I know its common to have something present, no matter how much you clean. In fact...being too clean all the time can create your immune system to be on "down time". So...compensate.
