Hi, my name is Cathy and I will be curising with 11 other family members in November. Ranging in age from 7 months to ? ( my grandmother who acts very young, would kill me for telling her age) .

I have been on two other cruises but never on Royal Caribbean. I need to know if kool-aid, lemonade,tea or coffee is free. We will have 4 teenagers who don't drink alot of sodas but they aren't going to want water at every meal.

From what I have read on this chat room I think we can carry sodas on board in a carry on bag.If
I'm wrong please someone tell me. I have a way of embarrassing my own 3 teenagers without trying too! Not that I get to upest over embarrassing them I kinda feel that is part of my job as their mother but some times I like to go easy on them.

You are correct. Soda, coffee, tea, lemonaide, water, and some fruit juices are free. Soft drinks, and liquor are not. We brought our soda onto the ship in plain view of the ship's staff. They will allow a "reasonable" amount of soda to be carried on. We each took a 6 pack of those "plastic" Pepsi's and no one said a word. I would think they may question like 3 cases brought on, but we have cruised the Sovereign 2 times and she's a wonderful ship. We went before the big renovation, and then after. It made a big difference. Don't forget to play the "Quest" game. Its hilarious, but it can get a little "adultish" towards the end, so watch the kids. Good luck. Have a safe cruise.
