We will be sailing on the Marinier of the seas. I have a few questions. Regards to the casino. Are there blackjack tournaments, price to enter and how often do they have them, and what are the prizes.

Most cruise ships have blackjack tournaments but the cost and prizes will vary from ship to ship. The normal entry fee is usually around $20 with the prize being around $1,000. As I said, however, this will vary between ships. They usually only have one per cruise and it runs over several days where you play in rounds to eliminate people.

Hope this helps, enjoy your cruise!

I participated in the Balckjack tourney on the Navigator this past December. There is only one tournament held on Day 2 (at sea). Entry fee was $20. Each participant was given $500 of chips. The 2 highest winning players from each first-round group after 7 hands move on.
