Dinner seating

I am traveling with my pre-teen daughter on the Majesty of the Seas. Does anyone know if you can request to be seated at dinner with someone traveling with pre-teens/teens?? Wasnt sure how they decide who you are seated with, would like her to have someone to talk to and relate to during dinner.

Our experience has been that they try to seat younger families with other younger families. Not always so, but it seems more often than not there is a someone close to our son's age at the table.

I suggest you e-mail RCI at rcldining@rccl.com with your reservation number and tell them what you'd like.

Thank you for your input. I have cruised before with Disney and with RC, but on Disney we were seated just as a family and on RC there were 6 ladies traveling together and we were seated at a table for 6, so I have never experienced being seated with other travelers. Looking forward to the experience. Thanks again.... I find your postings very helpful.

Hello Judycrusier, welcome to Cruise-Chat! You can request another table if the table you're assigned to isn't what you want. Dave's suggestion it the best way to a table that would accommodate you.
