According to this article, looks like it's official. Although I can't find anything on RCCL website yet.

It was bound to happen, given the importance of Port Canaveral to RCI. They also have to keep things going with new-build ships going to Miami and larger ships being moved to other ports. And of course let's not forget what happens later next year - the first Genesis ship is set to begin revenue service.

Glad to hear the RCL will be back there with a nice ship in 2009. with Mariner leaving only leaves SOS, and we rather the newer larger ships. http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif
