Freedom - 10th Sept 2006

Only just over a week away from crusing on the freedom, and cant wait !!. Anybody else on this week ?

One question, we are flying from the UK Sat 9th, and staying overnight in Miami. What is the situation with airport transfers ?, are they included ? Do we get taken to our hotel on Saturday, and down to the pier on the Sunday ? Or do we have to make our own way ?

Hello Darbs44, welcome to cruise-chat.
Usually transfers from the airport to the cruise ship are only good for the day of the cruise. If you are staying the night before your cruise, you'll have to hire a taxi or shuttle from the airport to your hotel. The morning of you're cruise you will have to arrange for shuttle service or taxi from your hotel to the port. Hope this helps...

Welcome to cruise-chat Darbs44!

If you purchased your airline tickets and your hotel package from the cruiseline then yes they will make sure you get to the hotel and the ship the next day. If you purchased either independently, then No they will not take you to the hotel and then to the ship. If you purchased just the air from the cruiseline then you are on your own to get to hotel and cruise, but they will transfer you back to the airport after the cruise. I hope this is not confusing.

Thanks for your help, a little confusing but I think I no were I am now. Might just double check with my travel agent, the cruise, hotel and flight were all booked together, so I think I am OK ?
