DH and I are celebrating our 35th anniversary. This will be our third cruise - have never sailed in a hump or aft cabin and I so wish we could do both. You all are so much more knowledgeable than I , so I'm relying on your advice. DH is retired Navy and is wondering if in 1102 we'll feel the vibration from the screws on the ship?! Any and all thoughts are appreciated. Thanks in advance! I really do appreciate you all.

Just from following this chat website...I'm under the impression no one really recommends the rooms from the 3rd floor down. Many have said they smell. My father said his did not smell, however, when pulling into ports the sounds of the engines/thrusters are really loud.
He stayed way in the front on the 9th deck once and said it swayed a little. We've stayed in the rear on the 8th floor no problems.
Good luck- I'm not exactly sure where your room is located on the 9th floor but you can look it up online, if you haven't already.

I don't think you will hear the vibration of the screws in the hump cabin.

We were just on the Voyager of the Seas on the 3rd deck and never felt vibrations or heard any engine noise....but that's not to say they aren't there on other ships....9th deck or so and you shouldn't have a problem....maybe from the partying on the 12th deck though...but just go up and join them...

I was in cabin 1104 on the Jewel and can tell you for sure there is no vibration. 1102 is on deck 10. Your balcony will be huge if you book 1102 on the Jewel. To see what it will look like click HERE.
