I really think loirule was a drive by poster I haven't seen this individual post nowhere else I could be wrong but I haven't seen any sign of this person since the comment, what happens to people after just one post I wonder.
Spiritfilled- That's the very definition of a drive by poster. They jump in with one post (typical a flame of something instead of a compliment) and then they are never heard from again. Once in a while they will make one or two replies in the discussion before they dissappear. I imagine some may even stick around and "lurk" (read the forums but don't post any messages). I personally am like you and don't understand it. Maybe they are just disgruntled about something (luggage in this case) and it makes them feel better to complain to the world. Who knows...

Steal my clothes. Take my jewelry and electronics. But, for the love of God, don't mess with the booze. hee hee

Let me tell you my experience, just in case some of you have NOT read it.
Several years ago my friend and I had just arrived at port. A large Taxi took our luggage, and also people were able to ride with the luggage. When it came time for us to get on the taxi, it was full. We got on another taxi, "thinking" , (therein lies the problem)our luggage would come to our room.
We kept waiting, and waiting, and finally make the CALL To make the long story short, our luggage wound up going on another cruise ship for 4 1/2 days. We had 2 1/2 days of our clothes. The rest of the time we "almost" wore just the two outfits (one put on carry-on/one worn) we had, until we were able to purchase a few more clothes.
Just remember.......STAY with your luggage if you are taking a Taxi
Yes, it was, and one we will NEVER forget. It seemed like we were at the Purser's desk at least 2 to 3 times a day, trying to find out what was going on. There were 4 of us couples, and it was a MESS.

good advice & it was obviously a horrible experience .....but even several years ago did the cruise line not provide labels with the ships name and stateroom number for you to put on your cases ? If they had done that then the staff loading the cases must have been really incompetent.Lets hope you never have an experience like that again.
You know if I recall right, we had all the "identification" information on our luggage that they needed to "know" what ship that the luggage was going on.
Yes, it was a very SAD situation for the two of us, especially when it came to "formal" nights. We had beautiful gowns to wear, and they were on "another" ship, unbeknownst to us at that time. They tried to give us gowns they had for us to wear, but then you find the gowns DO NOT fit like your own do.
As they say, you learn through "trial & error", or by your "mistakes" , so you try to be "alert" of everything that is going on, so it won't happen again.
