Has anyone been on this Royal Caribbean ship? This is our 2nd cruise and 1st with Royal Caribbean. Our 1st was with Carnival's Triumph. That was a great experience for us.

Yes, I was on this ship in February 2009. It's a nice ship. The ship is smaller than the Triumph, but is a good size. It is about the same size as the Carnival Fantasy class ships.

The Grandeur of the Sea was our 2nd cruise! Our first was on the Empress of the Sea! We had so much fun on both! Love Royal Caribbean!

I'd tell you more about the boat, but since that was about 4 years ago, and we've been on 4 cruises...they all kind of mesh together!

We've been on 1 NCL and 1 Carnival, too.

For our honeymoon in September, we're going back on Royal Caribbean! Woot!

(I'm embarassed to say I don't remember the name of the boat! haha)

I was on this ship in February of 2006, and February of 2009. I was in a balcony cabin as a solo cruiser in 2006, and a junior suite in 2009. I like this ship alot and wouldn't hesitate to sail her again. Any specific questions I would be happy to answer.

Welcome to cruise-chat.

Which cruise are you taking? There is more than one 5-night itinerary.

Grandeur is a comfortable, well-maintained ship. Those 5-night getaway cruises look very pleasant with nice stops.

My kids get home today from their 5 night cruise on the Grandeur. They went to Key West, Cozumel, and Cococay Bahamas. They called and said that they love that ship. Had a great vacation and after sailing on back to back Carnival ships will never go back. We all love Royal Caribbean (everyone has their preference, not knocking Carnival). You'll have a great time on the Grandeur. They were docked where they could see the Oasis of the Seas and were amaized at the size of that ship. Can't wait to cruise the Allure next year.

Just keep track of alcohol and gambling, those are the big costs for any ship. I love the Granduer!! Would do your cruise in a fast second!

Congrats on 25 years !!

Those threee stops are very easy to do on your own, some of the easiest. What do you like to do to relax, or explore?
