RCCL will not allow it if they find it. They will keep and give it back to you at the end of the cruise. They will not allow any brevages. I hide mine in the suit case and never take glass bottles the scanners will see it.

I have to agree with Dave on this. For adults, the soda cards just don't pay out. Unless you drink nothing but soda and drink at least three a day. I tend to drink too much wine or other adults bevvies to have it work.

Even for the kiddos, they don't drink enough soda to pay for it either. They have milk at dinner and an occasional soda. Since juice and water and the milk is free, they come close to having enough to pay for it, but not close enough. They would have to have about 2 glasses a day to break even.

On NCL the Kid's Crew offered a $14 soda card which was more reasonable (about 1 soda a day to pay for itself) But even then we didn't buy it.

(They and Carnival still allow you to bring your own soda on board)

Gees...I was planning on getting a coke card for all my kids, but now it doesn't seem worth it. Don't know how much they will drink. Do they monitor who is drinking the coke closely? I mean if I have 4 kids and buy 2 cards, theoretically (not ethically) what stops them from sharing? Think I'll just stick with the juice and tea..Good thing we are from Georgia!

I have two children. We purchased one card and used it for all our soda purchases since they were usually together. the soda emblem was only on one sea pass, so only that card could order the soda.

The iced tea is instant, made up gallons at a time, and has that flat and powdery taste that mixed iced tea has. If you're used to drinking brewed iced tea you'll gag.

We buy a soda card, but my wife likes iced tea. So we brew up three cups of hot tea and get about 4 glasses of ice and then make our own brewed ice tea at the table.

Norwegian, RCCL, NCL America, Carnival and Princess all have soda cards.
