No matter what ship or what cruise line I have sailed on the dinner menu pretty much follows the same pattern. For main entrees there is always a choice of a pasta dish, vegatarian dish, a beef, a poultry, a fish, and a seafood. How they prepare the dish varies, and the cut of beef will change ie. first night prime rib, formal night filet mignon, beef wellington etc. The same with the poultry one night chicken, another night duck. Ditto for fish and seafood changing each night. So you basically have an idea of what will be on the menu, but what the type and how it's prepared is the fun of going to the dining room everynight and being surprised. The menus will mark list which dishes are the spa selection, lowfat, etc.
